Most often it's been enough to just do this: Right-click on the icons for FrostyFix and FrostyModManager > Properties > Compatibility > click on 'Run this program as an administrator' > Apply. Every now and then the mods won't launch, probably because of periodic updates to the EA App. Things have changed since the original post. Make of that what you will, but in my case I'm thankfully back to being able to run a couple of mods. The game launched and the No Holograms mod worked.Īdded a second mod, and Frosty Mod Manager made both mods work inside the game. However, I once again ran Frosty Mod Manager as administrator and used that to launch BfII. Started over and tried FrostyFix again and this time FrostyFix crashed. The result: FrostyFix stalled and told me it couldn't find a certain folder (which I later renamed, to make a long story short). Opened FrostyFix as Administrator, told it to launch BfII via Frosty Mod Manager. The game launched, but the mod didn't work. Battlefront II then proceeded to launch.Ĭlosed the game and then ran Frosty Mod Manager again as an Administrator and tried to use a No Holgrams mod. Frosty Mod Manager then told me that it needed to make various alterations or whatever, which it proceeded to do. Then I used the the program to open/run Battlefront II, but without mods. Now I opened up Frosty Mod Manager with Administrative privilege. Next, I deleted mention of those same files from the two columns inside the Frosty Mod Manager UI. This time I deleted all mods files from where Frosty Mod Manager would expect to find them on the hard drive. Now, back to the original problem of apps' not working inside the game.
